A unified voice for Wisconsin's independent live entertainment venues
What We Are
Our Purpose
.WAV is a coalition of Wisconsinʼs independent live entertainment venues coming together to build a stronger, more connected future for our stateʼs stages, audiences, artists, and communities. We represent the unique perspective of locally operated venues and provide a unified voice for the people and places that make Wisconsinʼs live entertainment culture thrive.
.WAV exists to protect fans, protect local stages, and protect Wisconsin culture by advocating for policies and practices that strengthen the live entertainment ecosystem. Our work is grounded in three core pillars:
Bipartisan Advocacy
Advancing policies that strengthen Wisconsin's live entertainment ecosystem.
Independent Venue Leadership
Representing the unique needs of locally operated theaters and performance spaces.
Ticket Resale, Transparency & Fairness
Advancing transparent resale practices, fair pricing, and clear access to live events.
